A simple and fun typography project I did for my sister’s wedding. I was tasked to design the flags to go on the car for this occasion. I went with navy blue instead of black to go with the wedding’s color theme, and attempted to find fonts within the Adobe library to best match those on the actual car, a 1969 Indy Pace Car Camaro.

This project was one that I did for class, but I had a lot of fun with it! The model I used was one of the pens for my graphics monitor, and its cradle. I used Radeon Pro Render for Maya, and rendered several images for this particular model. I am currently learning how to use Blender (it is a huge learning curve), and will add some of those projects one of these days. My favourite part of this project was making the textures.

Portrait I created using charcoal subtraction, a method of traditional drawing using the eraser against a paper coated in charcoal. This was an interesting project, and displays values and contrast really well.

Drawing of a small bamboo plant using exclusively ink, and utilizing various types of ink shading (hatching, cross-hatching, stippling and scumbling in particular). I also adopted a more abstract take on the background to set it apart from the subject; the bamboo.
